Introduction .  . .




For years a threaten myself with a healthy lifestyle (eating right, exercise, looking after my hair, teeth and skin) but I have yet to do this. I have enrolled at Weight Watchers classes twice and tried online but quit. I always start off well but rather slowly cut down the less healthy food and stop them altogether and of course soon go back to them and give up.

I spend a lot of my free time attending events and conventions where I meet cosplayers which is sometime I admire and would love to try if only I was the right size and more confident. There are plus size girls who cosplay who look amazing and I wish I didn't care about my looks and go as I am right now but know I won't.

Another more important factor is my physical health. I am obese and worry the affect it is having on the body short and long term. One health risk I am aware of is I have the highest blood pressure in my family and too afraid to visit the doctor to discuss it.

My plan is the teach myself have to be healthy and look after myself while sharing my journey with others who may find this interesting and hopefully helpful. I hope to post at least one a week with information, what I have been doing, what worked, what didn't and ask others for advice and guidance.

It will be a slow progress with tears and anxiety; one that will be never ending. Anyone fancy joining me on this adventure?
